The newest property to join the Awasi family is Awasi Iguazú, situated just 15 minutes from the Iguazú falls, one of the seven natural wonders of the world. Opened in December 2017, Awasi Iguazú has 14 individual villas each placed on stilts to minimise environmental impact and positioned to give you privacy, yet with easy access to the main lodge housing a restaurant and bar.
Like at sister properties Awasi Patagonia and Awasi Atacama, service is excellent and each villa will be allocated a private guide and 4×4 for the duration of your stay, giving you access to knowledge of the area and complete freedom to personalise your activities. Of course, the 3km waterfall system is a must-see, but the freedom to venture further afield to visit archaeological sites, go jungle trekking and see the flora and fauna of the area is a major appeal of staying at the Awasi. The excursions have been developed together with a team of biologists to make the most of this amazing location whilst minimizing the impact of the visit on the ecosystem.
