Miraviva is a boutique travel designer offering high-end bespoke holidays throughout Central and South America.
We invest over a third of our time and resources in visits to Latin America and our guests benefit from our detailed, first-hand knowledge of this varied and inspirational region.
We pride ourselves in providing a seamless experience for the consumer, from the initial enquiry through to the holiday itself, while offering a personal consultancy service.
By knowing our guests, and understanding their preferences we are able to plan thoughtful and creative holidays. We combine the wealth of information which our well established network of friends and suppliers on the ground bring to us, along with the benefits of our speciality focus across one region.
With new boutique hotels, cruise vessels, eco-lodges, converted historic properties, design hotels, and private estates opening up across the continent, Latin America’s remarkable history, landscapes and geography offer a wide array of experiences for cultured and adventurous visitors.
Our philosophy is centred around sharing exclusively with our guests the best of Latin America, the continent that Miraviva loves.
The Miraviva Team
Marc Eschauzier, Founder
With family in Sao Paulo, Marc has always been inspired by Latin America. During the past two years he has travelled extensively across Brazil, Argentina and Chile exploring the region and researching hotels, and destinations for Miraviva. He also lived for a while in Salvador, Brazil, where he studied Portuguese.
Marc was a partner in one of the world’s leading Executive Search firms based in London delivering tailor-made solutions based on thorough in-depth research.
In 2012 he decided it was time for a change. With the growing interest in high-end holiday opportunities in Latin America, he redirected his professional skills to the travel industry and established Miraviva.
His eye for detail and passion for delivering the very best quality results means that our guests can rest assured that their holidays will be perfectly executed.
Simon Dale-Harris, Director
Coming from a property background, Simon joined the Miraviva team full time in early 2014, bringing with him a keen interest in architecture and the environment, an eye for detail and a love of travel.
He has spent a lot of time in East and Southern Africa and has continued to visit the continent at least once or twice a year for over twenty years, where he developed a deep attachment to the outdoor environment and wildlife.
Since visiting South America for the first time five years ago, Simon has travelled through Peru, Ecuador, The Galapagos Islands, Chile and Argentina, and in the course of his recent research for Miraviva, has made numerous trips to Brazil researching hotels and experiences across a large part of this huge country.
Simon is a keen sailor and also enjoys trekking and exploring the more remote locations. Having helped with the setting up of the company in 2013, he became our destination specialist for Peru, Ecuador, and the Galapagos Islands in 2015. He also provides our guests with advice on Brazil, Argentina and Chile.
Frida Tietze, Operations Manager
Frida is originally from Sweden but after a few years living in the USA and Italy she finally settled in London, UK, which has been her home for the last 10 years.
A passion for travel, languages and cultures led her to study for a degree in Tourism Management with Spanish, and since graduating in 2008 she has had various roles within the travel industry, including as a travel consultant for a luxury tour operator and more recently as an office manager for a specialist tour operator, before joining Miraviva.
Frida’s role as Operations Manager is all encompassing and at its core lays the strengthening of our processes and administration to ensure that we deliver quality experiences for our guests.
