M/V AriaIquitos, Peru

M/V Aria is an expedition cruise boat operating on the Amazon from the port of Iquitos. She is a floating five star boutique hotel, with very high standards of comfort and service. The 16 spacious suites have large picture windows and the food on board is excellent, with the Amazon-influenced menu devised by Chef Pedro Miguel Schiaffino. The sister boat M/V Aqua is no longer operating.

The cruises allow you to get up-close to the nature and wildlife, with twice-daily expedition activities in small zodiac boats. We feel that this is a very polished and well organized experience, with excellent naturalists. There are also interesting afternoon presentations on various aspects of Amazon life.

Three, four and seven night cruises are offered: the three or four night cruise should be enough for most people to get a real taste of the jungle.
