For those that want the very best in personalised service, the Belmond Palacio Nazarenas offers a smaller and slightly more exclusive Belmond option to the Monasterio, also in a former convent in Cusco.
There are 55 rooms and suites in total, from smaller Junior Suites, to a variation of Studio Suites in different parts of the building, and the grand and very spacious Signature Suites. Some of these have wonderful views over the rooftops of Cusco. Oxygen can be provided in the rooms for those who feel the effects of the high altitude.
Each of the suites come with a personal butler who will be at hand from arrival to departure, perfect for guests who really want to feel pampered while they explore Cusco and the Sacred Valley.
The hotel is set in a quiet square in the centre of Cusco ideally located for exploring the town further, although there are plenty of reasons to not want to venture too far. There is the Hypnose Spa to be pampered in and an open air heated pool – the only one in Cusco. When you are feeling peckish you can indulge in a pre-prandial Pisco sour before a gourmet dinner in Senzo restaurant. The sister hotel, Belmond Hotel Monasterio, is located right next door and guests can also dine in any of their restaurants if they wish.
