Casa Lapostolle is located in the Colchagua valley and along with its Clos Apalta winery was founded by was founded by Alexandra Marnier Lapostolle, the great granddaughter of Grand Marnier founder Alexandre Marnier Lapostolle. Here they make wines fusing the French expertise and the Chilean terroir. The hotel exudes style, comfort and luxury whilst enjoying extraordinary views of the vineyards and surrounding mountains.
The property’s accommodation consists of four “casitas” (small houses), and each of these has its own private terrace and garden. They are discretely nestled in the hillside and decorated with silk, leather, native wood and colour accents inspired by varietals from their wine blend.
The Residence is where the living room and dining rooms are located, and you can delight in the cuisine which enhances the natural flavours from Chile, either here or in the privacy of your casita. There is an lovely outdoor swimming pool and several outdoor terrace areas, made even more attractive by the prospect of a barbeque outdoors if you wish.
Given the oenological focus here, key activities to indulge in are wine tastings, visits to the wine museum and cooking classes with the chef (you can pick your own herbs from the hotel garden). However you can also explore the 650 hectares of landscape around the hotel on a bike, a horse or on foot and there are stunning views of the Apalta vineyards and the surrounding mountains.
