The Singular PatagoniaPatagonia, Chile
The Singular Patagonia merits all the attention it has received since it opened in 2011. Formerly a meat processing factory – and now a national monument – the building is a paradise for photographers with its outstandingly high quality and sympathetic interior decor and architecture.
With 57 rooms over two floors, panoramic glass walls, modern furnishings and ample bathrooms, The Singular Patagonia is amongst the finest luxury hotels in the world and it remains one of our firm favourites.
The hotel aims to ensure that all guests experience the true spirit of Patagonia, from expeditions to nearby glaciers to horseback riding in private ranches or walking tours of historic Puerto Natales. After a day of excursions relax in the hotel’s spa with a massage and a visit to its heated pool where guests can enjoy a swim indoors and a breath of Patagonian air outside.
The ambience in the large open spaced bar and restaurant matches the exquisite food connecting you to the region’s terroir and heritage. This hotel offers a fantastic experience, but as it is located some distance from the National Park, we recommend combining it with a couple of nights in accommodation closer to the Torres del Paine.
