Trump Ocean ClubPanama City, Panama
Conceived as the tallest building in Latin America and shaped like a boat with a giant sail, every aspect of the 70–story Trump Ocean Club is meant to dazzle and amaze. All of the 350-guest rooms face the ocean, but this project incorporates a residential building, an office complex and, when completely finished, an upscale retail complex along with the city’s largest and fanciest casino.
The guest rooms are well-sized and are as well–equipped as any in Panama City, with a level of finishing materials that’s a step above most others. The beds are extremely comfortable and the various suites on the upper floors offer more space.
Several restaurants offer top class cuisine, with Tejas being the primary showpiece. The Barcelona Tapas Restaurant offers all-day dining. However, on a nice day, there is nowhere better than to eat al fresco on the pool terrace. The complex has three swimming pools and a huge gym. The spa will provide a long menu of massage and beauty treatments.
This is not the place for those that do not like large hotels and crowds, but it does offer an impressive, swish, ‘big time’ hotel experience. And with a staff-to-guest ratio of 1:1 the service is pretty good.
