Kura Design VillasPacific Coast, Costa Rica

The Kura Design Villas are the perfect hideaway for couples and honeymooners. Located on a hill overlooking the Pacific Ocean at Uvita de Osa, the six beautiful villas offer stylish accommodation in an elegant yet environmentally sensitive manner.
The project was developed by a local couple – an architect and a marine biologist – and opened in 2012. The result is sustainable, contemporary and chic: the stunning infinity pool in front of the ‘Sky Lounge’ restaurant seemingly floats in mid-air, offering sweeping views over the jungle to the Pacific Ocean far below.
The villas themselves are spacious with teakwood panels, bamboo ceilings, giant floating beds and wide balconies that hold a hammock built for two are all sewn into the design to make Kura Design Villas ideal for romantic getaways.
Each room is equipped with an i-Pad that is loaded with spa options, the day’s menus and information about the property, not to mention music and books for enjoying by the pool.

Dining at Kura features Costa Rican fusion cuisine using only local produce whilst the bartenders at the Diablitos Bar concoct classic cocktails with a local twist.
