Set above a palm-fringed beach right on the edge of Corcovado National Park on the Osa Peninsular, Casa Corcovado is a model combination of luxurious comfort and natural adventure.

The hotel offers four honeymoon suites, four junior suites and six deluxe bungalows – all carefully spaced out throughout the grounds so guests can feel close to the dense tropical jungle outside with a maximum peace and privacy. With no roads and the nearest town two hours away by boat, Corcovado National Park is about as far away from it all as you can get in Costa Rica and is an astonishingly biodiverse nature reserve.

There is plenty to do and see and nature will provide much of the entertainment. Quite apart from the wonders of the forest, there are 500 meters of pristine, golden-sanded beach, waterfalls and two swimming pools (the smaller of these is spring-fed and tucked away in the forest besides a small stream).

For the more active, the waters around the neighbouring Cano Island offer excellent scuba diving opportunities and there is sea kayaking, hiking and rainforest tours in the Corcovado National Park as well as horse riding.
