The Arennas Mancora is the latest top-end beach-front property set amongst mature palm trees on Las Pocitas Beach about a 10 minute drive south of Mancora. Formerly known as Las Arenas de Mancora this stylish hotel was re-launched in July 2013 after receiving a complete design make-over. Several new rooms – including four beach-front Junior Villas with their own private jacuzzis or plunge pools have been added, bringing the total number of rooms to 22.

The public areas are semi-open air, and include a chic lounge bar and dining room serving modern international cuisine. Close by is the attractive pool and a spacious hot tub/jacuzzi directly in front of the beach – ideal for watching the sun set over the Pacific Ocean, Pisco Sour in hand from the beach bar.

We were particularly impressed with the spaciousness of the rooms and bathrooms, and like the way in which many of the rooms have a separate entrance directly into the bathroom so that you can shower straight off the beach without having to go into the room.

Whilst the hotel is primarily aimed at couples, there are also four connecting rooms, which are ideal for families.
