Hotel BLima, Peru
Hotel B opened its doors in May 2013 as the first top-end boutique hotel in Lima. Located in the up-and-coming artsy-bohemian district of Barranco, this charming converted 1914 house offers guests a real home away from home.
The 17 rooms and suites are all different and all are decorated with at least two original art works. In fact the whole hotel is an eclectic treasure-trove of artworks dating from the 18th Century right up to the present day. All have been carefully selected and placed and many are on loan from the Lucia de la Puente Gallery, which is located right next door.
We particularly love the intimate library, where breakfast and afternoon tea is served. In the summer months the double doors from the library open directly into the central courtyard where guests can sit. The dining room/bar serves excellent Peruvian/international ‘comfort food’ at very reasonable prices, and there are plans for a roof terrace where sunset drinks can be served.
Hotel B is chic and personal and ideal for guests that want to discover the growing number of galleries in Barranco, as well as offering easy access to Lima’s vibrant dining scene. We heartily recommend this hotel to Miraviva Guests.
