The estancia is a 50,000 square foot Spanish colonial style building set within 4,000 acres of rolling land running down to the sea. It is surrounded by expansive patios and green areas hosting modern sculpture installations and shady seating areas for guests to relax in. There are only 12 spacious guest rooms in total for an exclusive feel, with 8 suites and 4 master suites, each individually decorated in true Vik style with plenty of interesting art work on the walls.

There is plenty to do on the estancia itself for those who like to be active, such as horse riding or mountain biking, tennis, golf and different water sports. Nature walks with a visiting guide or birding excursions can be arranged in advance, and polo lessons are also available. There is a 20-metre outdoor pool and sun lounge area, a games room, spa and gym. The sister properties Playa Vik and Bahia Vik at the beach is also easily accessible from the Estancia.
