The venerable Oro Verde Guayaquil was the first hotel to be opened by the Oro Verde Hotel Group in Guayaquil and in our view, following extensive refurbishment in 2014 remains the best hotel for guests wishing to stay in the heart of Guayaquil’s downtown area.

There are 236 rooms in two separate blocks which are tastefully decorated and furnished and with all the amenities expected in a top city centre hotel. There are five restaurants including Le Gourmet, one of Guayaquil’s top French restaurant as well as a Swiss restaurant, and the Ecuadorian/International El Patio restaurant. Other facilities include a swimming pool, gym, spa and shops. Service throughout is professional and discreet.
