Accommodation
M/V OriginGalapagos Islands, Ecuador
Instantly recognisable from her dark blue hull and distinctive shaped bow, M/V Origin is now one of the best smaller cruise boats operating in the Galapagos Islands.
She has 10 deluxe cabins, each totalling around 15 square meters and with a king size bed, fine linen and towels, memory foam mattresses and down pillows, guaranteeing a good night’s sleep. The cabins have Apple TV, internet access (at extra cost) and Espresso coffee machines.
There are two expert naturalist guides on board to look after a maximum of 20 passengers, which means that shore excursions are in small groups. Ten other crew members are on board to cater for all the passenger needs. The dining room and social areas are located on the Darwin deck, whist the sun deck at the top has sun loungers, a bar and outside dining area with BBQ. Passengers have the option of either dining alone or joining larger tables, whichever they prefer. There is also a library and small boutique selling local handicrafts on board.
Wetsuits, snorkeling gear and kayaks are all provided free of charge, and the tariff is full board including standard drinks. There are two different 7 night itineraries running from Sunday to Sunday, Itinerary A to the central and southern islands and Itinerary B to the western and northern islands.
