Explora Rapa NuiEaster Island

Constructed from wood and volcanic rock, the Explora Rapa Nui is an architecturally stunning lodge, cleverly designed to blend seamlessly into the natural landscape of Easter Island.

The hotel’s 26 rooms and four suites are stylishly decorated with pale wood walls and ceilings, while the large windows offer fantastic views out to sea. The main lodge building houses the bar and dining room, along with a spa with massage salon, sauna, heated open air swimming pool and Jacuzzi hot tub.

Part of the hotel’s ethos is to enable you to detach yourself from the outside world, and in line with this there is no TV or WiFi in the rooms. The focus is clearly on discovering the magic of the island and there are some 20 different excursions – some on foot and some by bicycle and all led by experienced bilingual guides – for you to choose from. These, along with all meals and drinks, are included in your stay. Horse riding and snorkelling are also offered.
