Set in the heart of the Casco Viejo historic district, Las Clementinas offers just six lovingly renovated suites with unbeatable personalised service. The building was originally constructed in the 1930s as an apartment building, and the original layout has been retained as well as the look reminiscent of the early days of the Panama Canal.
Each suite features an enormous living room with dining area and a kitchenette besides the spacious bedroom and bathroom. We love the contemporary décor and hardwood floors along with the striking modern art on the walls of some of the suites.
The roof top terrace offers the perfect spot to enjoy great views over the rooftops to the Pacific Ocean and surrounding neighbourhood – although there is no lift so it is a bit of a climb from the ground floor. Back on terra firma the French-style brasserie offers all-day dining and there is a delightful little patio around the back, which is a lovely little oasis of greenery.
