Equator Swirl
The Intinan Museum in Quito is right on the equator and is a fascinating place to visit. To ‘prove’ that it is right on the equator line there are various demonstrations and games to entertain guests. We made this video showing the apparent effects of centrifugal forces affecting which way water turns when it goes down the plughole in the northern and southern hemispheres.
