M/V Santa Cruz, PatagoniaPatagonia, Argentina
The M/V Santa Cruz is a new 22 cabin catamaran which was recently launched on Lago Argentina and is now the largest and most comfortable vessel on the lake.
She offers one magnificent master suite, two master cabins and 19 other cabins which are compact but have all the facilities required for a short cruise. The top deck comprises a large open plan bar and lounge area giving panoramic views of the surrounding mountains.
Passengers are taken off on a two night / three day cruise, spending the night moored in delightful remote spots where if you are lucky, you may wake up to a beautiful sunrise reflecting off the surrounding snow-capped mountains. There are morning and afternoon excursions on shore and guests will see the Spegazzini, Mayo, Upsala and, of course, the famous Perito Merino Glaciers.
We thought that the food was excellent and it is interesting to combine some pioneer settler history with the fabulous natural scenery.
