Hiram Bingham TrainCusco to Machu Picchu

A journey on the Hiram Bingham train will add a touch of luxury and class to your visit to Machu Picchu, evoking the bygone era of luxury train travel which the train owners, Belmond (former Orient Express), are renowned for. The trip from Poroy (Cusco) to Aguas Calientes is an early morning departure.

A delicious breakfast is served as the train passes through the Sacred Valley, and then alongside the Urubamba River. Admire the stunning scenery from the open observation car at the rear.

If you only want to travel one-way on the Hiram Bingham, we recommend our guests experience the return trip, in the evening. There is a great party atmosphere on board, with Pisco Sours and live entertainment in the bar followed by an excellent dinner prior to arrival in Poroy (the station for Cusco).
